Popular Dallas jeweler clasps new shop in Park Cities for her dainty designs

Dallas-based jeweler is in expansion mode:Nikki Smith Designs will open second retail location, in the Park Cities, next month.

The new shop – which also will be the brand’s headquarters – will debut at the Pavilion on Lovers Lane around August 19, they say.

“We are excited to expand the Nikki Smith experience to the Park Cities area,” Smith says in a release. “We look forward to immersing ourselves into such a great community with our new and elevated space.”

The 2,000-square-foot space (550 of it for retail) promises to be a warm, friendly experience that includes fashion, fine, and permanent jewelry, she says.

“From start to finish, you’ll be able to find on-trend fashion jewelry, dainty fine-jewelry, and a permanent bracelet bar that’s Instagram worthy,” she says.

Smith, who has lived in Dallas for more than 15 years, launched her eponymous brand in 2014. Her first location (at the Dallas Farmers Market, 1011 S. Pearl Expy. Ste. 170) has earned a loyal following, and she’s also done a booming wholesale business. Her jewelry is in more than 1,000 stores nation and worldwide, she says.

Semi-precious gemstones, druzy, pearls, and gold-filled materials form the basis of the designer’s modern yet dainty earrings and necklaces.

“Since we began our business, the customers have become a part of our accessorized family,” she says. “I believe modern and dainty jewelry should be sustainable and accessible to everyone, everywhere, which is why this brand is backed by so much loyalty.”

In 2022, Smith forayed into the TikTok-trendy world of permanent jewelry, which she will continue in an even bigger way at the new boutique.

The new location is at 5710 W. Lovers Ln.., Ste. 104, and will be open daily 10 am-5 pm for shopping and permanent jewelry application.

A grand opening party on August 19 will include the launch of the brand’s first fine-jewelry line. They’ll also offer private parties and events.
